Youth Rise Texas is a Hiring a Director of Programs!

Youth Rise Texas seeks a Director of Programs who will lead and ensure excellence across all Youth Rise Texas’ youth programming efforts. This individual will contribute to the maintenance and further development of Youth Rise Texas programs and partnerships through strategic leadership and management oversight of all aspects of our school-year program Still We Rise, summertime #StayWoke program, and the year-round Strategic Research program. This person will provide comprehensive and expert operational leadership including supervision of assigned program staff, as well as leading Youth Rise’s organizational and programmatic evaluation plan, and ensuring accountability to high-quality data collection that assesses programmatic efficacy and helps tell the story of our work. Now hiring interns and seeking volunteers!

Youth Rise Texas is a nonprofit dedicating to uplifting young people harmed by criminalization and deportation so that they may heal, take action, and cultivate compassionate communities.

We are currently seeking multiple volunteer positions and two part time interns for our fall programs.  Positions available starting in September including:

  • Regular weekly volunteers needed to support youth transportation to and from our site on Wednesday and Friday in the late afternoons
  • One-off occasional volunteer opportunities (evening and weekend availability required) + regular weekly in-office support (daytime availability)
  • A 10 hour per week fundraising and development intern
  • A 20 hour per week program support intern
