Youth Rise Texas seeks a full time Director of Programs who will lead and ensure excellence across all Youth Rise Texas’ youth programming efforts, as well as a part time Program Associate to help deliver our peer-led mental health and civic engagement programming.  Please head over to our Jobs + Volunteering page for more info and links to the job descriptions.

Youth Rise Texas youth positions are designed for teens ages 15-20 who have been harmed by criminalization.

We want to work with you to:

  • Transform yourself and your community
  • Gain leadership skills
  • Have fun and make friends!
  • Learn about and practice self-care

#ArtsForward tickets are on sale now!

#ArtsForward is Youth Rise Texas’ annual showcase of the artistic and cultural productions of our youth movement-makers.  This year’s event will feature the works of our Digital Storytelling project, a collaboration with Texas Folklife, and Tunnel Vision, the final work our Theater Arts Project which will premier during Fusebox Festival .

#ArtsForward guest will experience an evening of self-guided listening stations of the Digital Storytelling Project, at-your-pace viewing of Tunnel Vision, and a youth artist talkback for audiences to hear first-hand about their artistic approaches to these works.  Additionally, guests will be treated to delicious treats from some of Austin’s favorite restaurants, refreshments, and a cash bar.
